What you don't know can hurt you

You're not the man your grandfather was.

(sorry to be the bearer of bad news)

You don't have his testosterone level, or even his sperm count (awkward, I know).

That's according to Yale Epidemiologist Shanna Swan, not me.

Her studies show that sperm counts have decreased nearly 60% since 1973, and testosterone levels have been cut in HALF.

Shocking, I know.

Worst of all, the median sperm count is expected to reach ZERO by 2045.

ZERO.

That's insane. Everyone will need assistance to get pregnant - and that's just the men's fertility issues we're talking here, not women.

So, the million dollar question is: what's causing this drastic drop in hormones?

Well, according to Dr. Swan, it's the endocrine-disrupting chemicals that are all around us. Especially phthalates.

Those are the chemicals that are used to make plastics more durable... aka plasticizers.

And those damn plasticizers are in EVERYTHING.

Plastics, floor coverings, toys, medical devices... and PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS.

The products you're supposed to ingest, rub all over your body, and think are good for you? Those are the ones full of those plasticizers.

No bueno for your hormones.

The one that was the most surprising to me was how artificial fragrances - like in candles, perfumes, and even gasp beard oils - were full of phthalates.
