Sometimes easier is better
Let's face it, the gym really isn't the hard part.
Sure, you have to workout hard and push yourself.. But that only lasts for an hour or so.
The hard part is sticking to your diet. Consistently. 24/7.
That's hard, but we tend to make it harder on ourselves. By not planning in advance, not prepping our food, and by eating things that taste bad.
If you don't like how it tastes, your discipline will only last for a little while. Then you'll be running to McDonald's for some chicky nugg nuggs because you hate your life and everything about it and are ready to throw in the towel.
Luckily, we can make it easier.
You can plan your meals in advance, prep your food, and make it taste good so easily that it really isn't much work at all.
I used a lot of chicken breast, cut up into cubes, that I would store in a large tupperware or gallon ziploc back. All I had to do was grease the pan and toss the chicken in - easy peasy.
Ground beef is the same way - just measure out your portion and throw it in a pan.
With both of these, you really have to focus on the seasonings and keeping your food fresh. If your food is fresh, and your seasonings are good - you can eat basic foods for a long period of time. Just don't try to eat the 5 day old meal in the fridge you forgot about. You're just going to make yourself suffer.
