5 exercises I suck at
You gotta suck first.
So you might as well embrace it.
It's the only way you're going to get the results you're looking for from the gym, or anything for that matter.
Here's 5 exercises I suck at right now:
single leg dumbbell deadlifts - my balance is awful and I fall over while I'm doing this half the time.
hip thrusters - humping the air still feels a little weird to me, and I'm getting stronger - but 120# girls are still dominating me in this exercise.
clamshells - I either don't feel these at all, or they burn so bad I feel like can barely life my legs afterward.
tbar rows - I used to be good at these, but haven't done them in 3+ years. Now I feel like a newbie again.
preacher curls - I haven't done these since I tore my right biceps, but I'm working them back in very lightly.
I've been a high level bodybuilder, coach, and I own a badass supplement company - and I STILL feel like an idiot when I'm doing a new exercise.
Embrace it. Be okay with sucking and feeling like a fool - because that's the only way you can get there.
And if you haven't had a chance to check out The Nut Club Podcast - this is your sign.
This is the kind of thing we talk about on The Nut Club - real life exercise applications. How we handle our workouts, the changes in life.
How to get more results doing less, or how to break through plateaus.
