Just a short one for you today - it's been a busy week.
Not only is it the first of the year (our busiest time!), but my wife had surgery on Wednesday, so I've been out of the office a lot more than normal.
(she's doing great, by the way)
But I wanted to take a moment to remind you of one thing that I think most people need to understand.
YOU NEED TO LIFT HEAVIER
That's the truth. You're not going to transform your physique until you figure out how to push heavy weight consistently over time.
Yeah, it hurts at first. Feels a bit uncomfortable.
You feel like you might hurt yourself, but you won't - not if you go up gradually.
But as you lift heavier, you require a whole different response from your body. A stress that FORCES your body to adapt.
And that adaptation is how you change your entire physique from the ground up.
So if you haven't been lifting heavy?..
Start with your next workout. Add 5lbs to the bar. 10lbs to the machine.
See what happens - can you get the same amount of reps?
Let me know what happens -
