We're just a few days away from 2024 - pretty crazy, right?
The parties are almost over, the food will be gone soon, and you'll be back into a normal routine for months and months..
Which is why the New Year is such a great time for goal setting, or resolutions.
I've never been a big "New Year's Resolution" kind of guy, but I've always naturally set goals for myself. Goals themselves can help keep you motivated, and help you make changes that you never would have accomplished before.
So I'll go first, in 2024 I'm going to learn Spanish.
But that's pretty vague, isn't it? It could mean as little as learning some phrases for vacation, to total fluency. It also doesn't address how I'm going to get there.
It needs to be more specific, so I'll know when I've achieved it. Plus it's gotta be something I can actually achieve, so I'll stay motivated.
Let me try again:
By December 2024, I will be at conversational fluency (B1 level). I'll achieve this by dedicating 45 minutes per day to Spanish content - a mixture of vocabulary apps, watching videos, and communicating with Spanish speakers directly.
Now, what about you? What are your goals for 2024? Hit me back with your goals, and I'll hook you up with something exclusive.
