Stop the madness
It all comes down to one thing:
Can you beat the log book?
That's why you track your workouts. And that's why you need to be strategic about which workouts you do.
If you're jumping around from workout to workout trying to 'keep your muscles guessing' - you're doing it wrong.
At least if you're wanting to build a solid foundation that will support your body for years to come.
Because when you workout and track your workouts the way I'm talking about - you're investing in your body for the long term. When you build muscle, it's so much easier to stay lean and lose body fat. It's so much easier to have a healthy metabolism when you're focused on building muscle.
So stop the random workouts. Stop trying to 'confuse' the muscle...
And stop basing your workouts on how 'hard' they feel. It has nothing to do with the progress you're making.
Instead, base it on your log book. Did you beat it? Did you add an extra rep to your workouts? Go up 5lbs?
Those are the things that matter and will help you build a foundation that will pay you back for life.
We're going to dive into this more soon - and I'm going to show you how to do exactly what I'm talking about.
