There's all sorts of things that we all know that we should do as adults, but we don't necessarily do them.
I know I should clean my gutters out every year, but it doesn't mean that I do. AND I know that I should clean out my dryer vent through my house, but I haven't done it yet (yes I know I might catch my house on fire and burn).
But one of those things that you should really never do?
Hit the snooze button.
When you hit the snooze button, you're doing a few things.
Going back into a sleep cycle that you cannot finish, leaving your more groggy than you were before.
Plus, you start your day behind. You feel rushed and like you're always playing catch up.
But the most detrimental is that it trains you to be lazy, rather than disciplined.
So if you want to become a more disciplined person... The kind that can stick to their diet, make it to the gym, and transform their body and life...
Then you can start tomorrow morning by not hitting the snooze button.
Who knows, something so simple like getting up immediately when your alarm goes off might just change the trajectory of your life altogether. It's possible that this one act is the catalyst for a level of discipline that you've never felt before.
But you won't know until you do it.
