A little tracking trick for you
I want to show you a little trick I use to make tracking my workouts easier than ever.
First, you want a physical notebook. Sure, you can use anything you like - but a physical notebook is special. I have workout logs going back all the way to high school that I could show you - that's how special they are.
Anyway, here's the trick.
When you're comparing your workout from last week to what you're about to do this week, just copy it over.
I like to use the indicators LT and TT.
LT stands for Last Time, while TT stands for This Time. Pretty simple, right?
So it would look something like this:
Bench Press: LT 225x10x8x6 TT 230x
That's how I start every workout, but for every single exercise. Then I know how many reps I did for each set, what weight I should use, and I don't have to keep flipping my notebook back and forth to look at my old weights.
Simplicity is key, even if there's just a little extra effort there. I know it's helped me, and it'll help you too...
