How to easily hit your protein goals
For years I ate well over 300g of protein per day, even peaking somewhere in the 450g of protein range for awhile.
To put that in perspective, that's around 3lbs of chicken breast per day (if that were the only thing I was eating).
But a lot of people have trouble hitting their protein goals, so I wanted to give you a bit of an insight into how to easily hit your protein goals every single day.
Here's 5 tips that'll make it easier:
Get started early - Don't wait to get your first serving of protein in each day - start early to give you plenty of time to digest it and be hungry for your next meal.
Stick to the basics - Don't get too fancy with things, just stick to the basics. Chicken breast, ground beef, eggs, etc. They're easy to cook, easy to flavor, and don't need a whole lot else to enjoy.
Prepare for your laziness - You're going to find yourself without a meal, and a strong feeling of laziness to not cook one. If that happens, you're probably not going to hit your protein total, or you're going to grab something that's bad for you. Instead have your meats prepped in advance - cube your chicken, separate your ground beef into portioned meals to cook. Make it as easy as possible on yourself to succeed.
Find the right meal prep method - Some people like to prep all of their meals once a week because it makes their life easier, and they stick to their diet easier. Me on the other hand, I don't like that. I think the food starts to taste old after awhile. I prefer to cook my meals daily - and keep them as simple as possible so it doesn't take a lot of work. Find a method that works for you - not what everyone else does.
Use protein powder - It doesn't get easier than protein powder. Anytime you need to add protein to a meal, protein powder has you covered. I've had thousands of meals that were just protein powder and almonds, because I didn't have another option at the time.
With the Foundation Stack, you're only paying $1.48 per serving for Isothority. That's cheaper than the cheapest cup of coffee you could find at the knock-off Starbucks.
No cutting up chicken, no cooking, no cleaning up afterwards. Just add water, shake, and drink.. For $1.48 per serving?
That's a steal in my opinion.
